Typical day at work: I drive from field to field in the mornings checking on activities that need to take place that day or to plan for subsequent activities. During that process I am on the phone coordinating with our field foreman and PCAs on the activities and sprays that need to take place. In the afternoons, I am usually in the office processing documents and responding to and drafting emails.
I follow college football. Fresno State is my two- time alma mater, so I am always rooting for the Bulldogs! Go Dogs!
Best gift: going through and experiencing the Ag Leadership Program in class 46, was the gift that forever changed my life. I made lifelong friends and relationships, and the experience helped me grow as a person. It is a gift I continue to relish and appreciate because I use something from that experience every single day of my life.
Travel: My favorite travel destination is a family cruise. I love it because I get to disconnect from my phone and not worry about lodging, food or really anything. I enjoy the solace and time I get to spend with Ramona and Linda. We love these trips because there are no distractions, and we can all be ourselves with each other.
Free time: As my daughter Linda is getting older, I am embracing the small things with my family. I enjoy cooking dinner with Linda and watching her play basketball and do cheer. My wife Ramona and I enjoy quiet time together, reminiscing about life and our future plans and goals together. In my free time, I enjoy strength training for my own physical and mental health. I also enjoy taking hour-long walks with my dad, learning and gaining his knowledge.
