We’re an agtech startup out of the Purdue University DIAL Ventures studio and a 2024 AgLaunch365 Accelerator participant with a mission to destroy all paper-based frustrations with operational record-keeping. Gripp is building a frustration-free QR tag and mobile app to make frontline data capture effortless. From issue reporting to daily activity tracking to routine inspections, recording the updates and information that surround the assets in your operation is now simple. Our early customers are tagging a range of assets from irrigation valves, planting rows, H-2A housing, and packing lines to field equipment, forklifts, and fleet vehicles—even employees. Gripp is the easiest way to capture and unify the traditionally kept paper logs surrounding your operation, making it easy to stay updated, data-informed and inspection-ready 24/7. Unlike other software that might take three-nine months to implement for a handful of users, Gripp takes about one minute per asset and is usable by every person in your operation, often in the hundreds. Gripp has you covered with the friendliest app for front-line operators we've yet to see! Check us out at www.gripp.ag Guardian Agriculture, the leading developer of electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) systems for commercial-scale sustainable farming, announced that it has become the first eVTOL manufacturer to begin commercial operations. Guardian recently began operating four of its aviation-grade eVTOL aircraft, spraying crops in the Salinas Valley region of California. Guardian’s eVTOLs spray crops more efficiently, sustainably, and safely than traditional crop- dusters or ground-based equipment. Its systems are fully programmable, repeatable, and simple to operate. A single Guardian eVTOL system can cover up to 60 acres per hour, can carry a 200lb payload, and has a combined tank fill and supercharge time of less than one minute. Guardian is operating in a global commercial agriculture segment valued at $65 billion annually. “This is a watershed moment for sustainable farming and a giant leap forward for eVTOL technology,” said Guardian Founder and CEO Adam Bercu. “While several companies are developing eVTOL technologies, we are now the only one that has both secured FAA approval to operate commercially nationwide, and that’s actually started flying missions on behalf of paying customers.” Naïo Technologies announced the launch of Augmented Autonomy at the Agritechnica show: a groundbreaking innovation that makes robot autonomy accessible, reliable and safe—without human supervision. Augmented Autonomy, an innovation from Naïo Technologies, the leading company in agricultural robotics, enables their entire fleet of robots to operate autonomously, without a human operator. This results in significant time savings and increased efficiency. “Naïo is the sole manufacturer in the agricultural robotics sector that has developed Augmented Autonomy. This revolutionary technology allows the robot fleet to function fully autonomously, while adhering to all regulatory and safety requirements, paving the way for more efficient and sustainable agriculture,” states Aymeric Barthes, co-founder of Naïo Technologies. The French company, located near Toulouse, is the only one to offer a CE and FCC certified autonomy for both its light and heavy robots. Naïo assumes liability in the event of an incident, provided the usage conditions are respected. VineView is excited to announce the introduction of five new game-changing products to complement our growing suite of vineyard information solutions. The new PinPoint RTK GPS is a precise handheld GPS unit that pairs with the VineView app, allowing the user to track observations with centimeter scale location accuracy, as well as a single click to build custom maps while scouting. Our new Sampling Plans take the guesswork out of sampling. Deploy your sampling crew to exact plant locations based on representative vines and reduce the labor required while improving accuracy. The VineView Speedtracker system allows growers to easily implement variable rate applications. No special equipment needed. Simply use our app to inform tractor speed. Need exact plant counts and a map of missing plants? Our precise Missing Vines maps use trunk locations to create a precise map.
