The Le Roys are once again offering a set of commercial bred heifers stemming from their own home-raised replacements. The heifers have been on an extensive mineral program since being weaned as calves and were caked through the summer. On Aug. 27, the heifers were ultrasounded, poured with Clean-Up and given Vira Shield 6 VL5. On Nov. 7, the heifers received their first round of scour shots and Dectomax Pour-On. On this same date, the heifers were ultrasounded again for a confirmed pregnancy. All ultrasound work was done by Johnson Veterinary Clinic of Mandan, North Dakota. 10 red SimAngus commercial bred heifers AI’d on 5/27/25 to BCLR Bond K9161. Interested buyers are welcome to view the heifers in person ahead of the sale. It’s always been a goal of ours to help market our customers’ females. When we were approached about selling bred heifers in our sale, we came up with a model that we think can work well. Moving forward, we will advertise and market our customers’ bred heifers in conjunction with our production sale. These females are either sired by or bred to bulls we’ve raised. Please contact us if you are interested in working with us to market your heifers.
