Constructed in 2007 and 2015 respectively, 50 & 70 Columbus are high-rise residential towers spanning 36 and 48 stories. The communities feature studios, one-, two- and three- bedroom units with luxury finishes including in-unit washers and dryers, walk-in closets, hardwood floors, stone countertops and stainless-steel kitchen appliances. Large windows provide abundant natural lighting and scenic views of the Hudson River and New York City skyline.

Northmarq’s Jason Smith & Kenneth Gentzel structured financing for a two-asset, 493-unit portfolio of luxury high-rise apartment buildings in the Washington, D.C., metro area on behalf of a prominent regional developer and owner. The portfolio included Solaire 7607 Old Georgetown, a newly delivered 22-story, 198-unit tower in Bethesda, and Solaire 1150 Ripley, a 16-story, 295-unit community in the heart of Downtown Silver Spring. Both assets are in high-demand, transit-oriented neighborhoods and feature a full suite of Class A amenities. The transaction reflected the strength of institutional capital’s appetite for core multifamily product in a high-barrier, Metro-served submarket.
