Welcome to Turtle Creek Angus! We are 1st generation registered black Angus seedstock producers. Our family, Tyrell & Kari Dieters consists of our 4 children: Tez, Everett, Chase & Baylee and our niece Jewel. Our family is the driving force of Turtle Creek Angus. We are located on the western plains of South Dakota 30 min. west of Faith, SD. We strive to keep the Angus cow at the forefront with a focus on maternal performance in our diverse environment. Our goal is to produce complete, balanced-trait cattle that will perform for our own ranch as well as our customers herds. Our cow herd is managed in a no-frills environment. Like everybody we appreciate problem free, easy keeping, productive cows with a quiet disposition. Longevity of a cow herd is very important to us, many of the bulls and replacements have 9 & 10 year old dams. We use balanced trait sires & try to check as many boxes as we can that affect the bottom line and profitability of the progeny produced. At the same time we still put a lot of emphasis on the phenotype of the animals we use and produce.
