Minimum $95 Cleanup Charge on Any Tool Returned Not Cleaned
WEEKEND RATES: Item is picked up after 4:00 p.m. on Friday and returned at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. Rental rate is 1 1/2 times the Daily Rate. Weekend Rates do not apply to all items. SUNDAY RENTAL RATE: Rental equipment can be picked up between 12:00-1:30 p.m. on Saturday and returned by 8:00 a.m. Monday morning for a 1-day rate. PAYMENTS: Deposits, rental fees and materials taken with rental unit are all payable in advance. Deposit returned if unit is returned complete and in proper condition. INSURANCE: The rentee is responsible for the care, safety and maintenance of the rented items from the time the rental item is picked up until it is returned to our store. If the rental items is lost or damaged during the rental period the rentee is liable for all incurred charges including the replacement or repair of any equipment as well as all rental charges. IDENTIFICATION: With no exceptions, the rentee or his representatives (whoever signs the contract) must show two forms of identification, one being a current NYS Driver’s License, the other being a major credit card or picture I.D. PRICES: Subject to change without notice. COURTESY AND CONSIDERATION: Please be considerate of others and take notice of when the rental equipment is due back. Please call if you are going to need it longer than expected. Most times someone else has it reserved and will be waiting for it. RESERVATIONS: Reservations are highly recommended. Whenever possible, please call ahead to reserve equipment and we will do our best to have it waiting for you. TOWING: Our large trailers require a minimum 9,000lb towing capacity vehicle with trailer brakes and light hook-up. NO EXCEPTIONS! 2 5/16” ball required.
RENTAL TERMS Notice: This is a condensed version, a full version is available in our store. For your safety and ours we will not load large equipment in cars or SUVs. Cedar Street Sales and Rental is not responsible for damage to vehicles while loading or unloading equipment. NOTIFICATION OF UNUSABLE EQUIPMENT: Cedar Street Sales & Rental must be notified immediately if rented equipment cannot be used for any reason whatsoever or full rental charge will apply. If after hours, call 409-0395. If we do not receive a phone call, full rental charges will apply until the equipment is returned. PLEASE NOTE: $95 minimum cleanup charge on any tool returned not cleaned. FLAT TIRES: The rentee is responsible for flat tires. We recommend Sloat Tire 343-7730. RENTAL PERIOD: The rental period starts at the time the rental contract is signed by the rentee or his representatives and ends only when the complete rental item is returned and checked in. Rental charges are based on total time out with running time restrictions: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, 160 hours per month. We charge for all time out including Saturdays, Sundays, nights and holidays. HALF DAY RATE: Applies to some rental units. It’s a 5-hour period from the time the item is signed out until the time the item is signed back in. Any overtime will be charged at the daily rate. OVERNIGHT RATE: Item can be picked up after 4:00 p.m. weekdays and returned by 8:00 a.m. the following morning for a half day rate. (Based on 4 hours of use) DAILY RATE: 24 hours from check out to check in. (Except weekends) WEEKLY RATE: 7 consecutive days. Weekly rentals are very limited.
