Peru: Gospel Hope Reaching the Jungle In Peru, Discipleship Training Center students completed their final evangelistic trip of the year with a powerful outreach in Pucallpa, a city of nearly 500,000 people located in the central jungle. The journey itself reflected the commitment of the team, requiring travel across the Andes Mountains at elevations exceeding 16,000 feet before descending into the heat and humidity of the jungle.

Intentional discipleship – through mentoring, everyday conversations, and hands-on ministry experiences – has helped students grow in confidence and obedience to Christ. While not every gospel conversation immediately leads to a decision, faithful presence and persistent prayer are planting seeds that promise lasting spiritual growth.
Partnering with longtime ministry friends, they
presented 12 gospel-centered presentations. Approximately 2,800 people were reached, and 790 individuals made decisions to trust Christ. Local churches are now actively following up with these new believers, continuing the work of discipleship and demonstrating the lasting impact of faithful gospel outreach in the region.
