Gilbert Leslie was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Gilbert has always enjoyed reading all genres of books, anything from philosophy to comic books, and would write short stories for friends. Dillard’s Promise is a story he allowed to simmer for years before he felt the urge to complete the book. He is a first-time author and is currently working on a sequel to Dillard’s Promise.
