We seem to be in an intensely interesting time as though our feet dangle, precariously, from a ledge. Do we not feel the discomfort of affairs in this world? Yet, have we not been offered us a life of peace? What we can easily observe is a stark contrast between what God offers and what we are facing. However, this long brewing contention also carries a whisper of that Small, Still Voice. God beckons. The book titled “Violence in Heaven”, “Meeting God where Rubber Meets the Road” is a tu- torial that rightfully claims God to be its author by the sheer nature its extraordinary real-life events as it reveals manners in which we have long been carelessly misguided. This narrative, about a contemporary journey, also provides a basic primer for what God expects as we step into His boat. He asks for a working/symbiotic relationship that rightfully acknowledges His guidance and that we do our part. We have at times said, “It is all about God”, but this token belief shows its own error. Rather He is Truth, Love and our Holy Champion within a race of which we are expected to participate. We need Him and He needs us to care for each other in the manner in which He created us to do. We have a Heavenly role which only we can do. Violence in Heaven, Meeting God where Rubber Meets the Road is an explicit, true-life ex- ample of God working with us. We need each other far more than God needs any of us alone! It is time to understand the cause of violence and stop it so that we will begin to see His will on Earth as it is in Heaven...in the fashion of which we are designed.
