I n the book Nia, if I only knew, describes a young lady who is in love. For Nia she only wishes that feeling will reciprocate to something. Robin, the boy Nia likes, is unaware of her feelings. In writing about Nia If only I knew puts into perspective of young girls who fall in love unaware of the relationship they will find themselves in if they are not inquisitive. This book will show how feelings can make our minds and our hearts become skewed when love takes over. Nia never imagined experiencing such love or being in a relationship as this. However, Nia best friends Natalie and Sophia who are as all teenagers’ teases Nia about being in love. Over time, they now feel that this love Nia feels towards Robin is not as it seems.
Both Natalie and Sophia become suspicious and believe Robin is hiding something that Nia needs to know and soon; However, they cannot quite identify what it is. Again, Nia emotions skew her thinking. Suddenly, Nia wonders if her longing for love has been a mistake. Like many young men coming of age, Robin wants to show himself and others that he is cool. Robin believes being cool means acting cool. Robin then decides to do the unthinkable and further himself into more chaos.
