Richly illustrated by the noted and prolific art nouveau designers Charles Ricketts and Charles Shannon, this copy features notably well- defined examples of Shannon’s plates, which are often found distinctly faded. Quarto. Finely bound in dark blue morocco, spine lettered and decorated in gilt, raised bands, pictorial block gilt to front board after the original boards, decorative endpapers, twin rule to turn-ins gilt, top edge gilt, others untrimmed. With 4 plates, engravings throughout. The occasional
