DJEM-BASS
The PJBS350 Djem-Bass Attachment allows you to convert any Pearl 14” djembe into a sub-sonic bass drum. To reduce the attack and add greater “lows,” we have included a cloth cap that stretches around the head. For smoother low-end with a slightly reduced attack, slip the included neoprene disc inside, allowing for two distinct sound options. A pedal (not included) attaches via an I.S.S. clamp to the djembe’s stand mounting plate. Includes two legs with mounting hardware, pedal bracket, head cover and neoprene muffler.

ROPE TUNED DJEMBES
Pearl's Folkloric line of congas feature a traditional look with modern innovation that only Pearl can deliver. Each 28” tall Oak drum is designed for the “seated” player, but includes stand mounts for players who prefer to stand. Thicker South American-style natural skin heads make the drums warm-sounding, but a fiberglass gel coating on the interior seals the shell and add the projection and volume desired by today’s players. Four Polished Steel Reinforcing Bands are inset on the shell for a smooth touch, and the traditional hoops complete these stunning Cuban instruments.

FOLKLORIC BATA DRUM
Bata drums originated in Nigeria over 500 years ago and were primarily used for religious purposes. The drums were introduced into Cuba by slaves in the 1820's. Pearl Batas are modeled after an ancient Cuban design and feature naturally finished 100% Thai Oak shells for outstanding and authentic tone. Polished steel traditional rims offer excellent tuning integrity and ease of tuning. These prized ceremonial drums have an hourglass shape and produce a great, warm tone similar to a bongo-like sound on the high drum and a djembe- like tone on the large drum.
