CALLING ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS Picture yourself a photographer? We are inviting amateur photographers to contribute to the permanent art collection for the new Clinical Services Building. We want photos that show what inspires you about living and/or working in the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai community. We would like to see
images of the amazing bushland, plant and bird life. The first prize winner will receive a $250 Westfield voucher and finalists will have their photographs displayed in the new building. STAGE 2 REDEVELOPMENT CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
The 30,000sqm building is taking shape with the eastern facade now fully exposed. The building is being fitted with plumbing and airconditioning, while ceilings and flooring is being installed. The new Pharmacy Department is progressing with staff looking forward to moving in later in the year. Work is also underway on the expansion of the Emergency Department.
Visitors and patients will notice a change to the location of the cafe, which will move to the foyer of the STAR building from mid-August. The current building where switch and the cafe are located will be demolished to make way for the new entrance to the hospital. The cafe will be relocated in August to the STAR building foyer, while the switchboard has temporarily moved to the Lumby building.
