Patient Success Spotlight

When I was kid, each November, we would sit around the Thanksgiving table, and talk about what we were grateful for. I think inmost families, this isacommontraditionforThanksgiving. My family is fairly non-traditional when it comes to this holiday. Coming from a family that tries to eat Whole-Food- Plant-Based (or Vegan), we skip out on the traditional Turkey.

“I love how your facility works! You go in and have a tech work on you and get the muscles and other things warmed up and then The physical therapist comes in and helps work on it at your level! I just love how kind everyone is and how it isn’t that expensive with insurance! I truly love how it all works and the atmosphere is awesome!!” A.W. “ I truly love how it all works”

Evenmore so, we usually skip out on the traditional home cooked meal. We’ve done everything from Chuck-a-Rama to ordering pizza. We like the benefit of less stress of cooking/cleaning. One of my favorite memories of Thanksgiving was being on a trip out of town on the holiday. We found ourselves looking for a place to eat and we ended up in a Indian food restaurant. We devoured the Indian food like group of starving pilgrims. And of course we made all the jokes about the pilgrims eating Indian food at the first Thanksgiving. Yes, we are pretty non-traditional at my house when it comes to this holiday. But one thing we would never skip is sharing gratitude to those who have blessed us and made this life a better place for us. This Thanksgiving season, we want to express appreciation and gratitude to our dear patients. We are very blessed to have the opportunity to work in a job that allows us to serve others and witness a change for the better. Very often we see people that are frustrated with life, because they can’t do many of the things they used to do or they are in pain. Often times, they are curt or ornery...for good reason. But I love to see the change that happens as we get people feeling better and doing more of the things they couldn’t do before. Some of my very best friends have been made here at Therapy. It’s truly amazing to be a witness to healing and to participate in it. We want to tell each of you who have been treated before in our office, Thank you! We count ourselves very lucky to get to know you, share in your triumphs, smile/laugh with you and occasionally cry with you.
