I believe we are here on the planet Earth to live, grow up and do what we can to make this world a better place for all people to enjoy freedom. Rosa Parks Rosa Parks played a leading role in launching the civil rights movement in 1955 when she refused to give up her seat to a white man on a Montgomery, Alabama bus and move to the ‘Colored’ section.
