Billy Frazer Company stability is one of the reasons why he joined the Averitt team almost 18 years ago. His leadership says, “He is a great example of an ideal Averitt associate. He works hard and makes sure our customers are taken care of. He communicates well and is always willing to step up and help when we are in a pinch.” Billy is married to his wife Kathleen and he has 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Outside of work he likes to ride his motorcycle and grill. His advice to new drivers is don’t rush and strive to do it right the first time.
Kenneth Benjamin Longevity with Averitt is a true testament to the consistency and culture of our company. As a 23-year driver he has driven in many different roles but has settled into shuttle and is a true asset to the team. He chose Averitt due to our family culture and that leadership truly cares about the associates. He is married to his wife Sharon and they have two boys, Katriel and Kernie. Advice for new drivers is to take your time, be patient and ask questions. Averitt is a great place to work. He enjoys riding motorcycles in his spare time.
Taurus Walker Having a “Can Do” attitude is what keeps him motivated to come in and do what needs to be done. It is also why he was chosen, his leaders say, “Taurus is always willing to complete any task whether it is loading, breaking freight or hostling. He does it the right way and with a positive attitude.” He has only been with us 4 months, but his goal is to complete the driver training program and drive for Averitt full time. He is married and has 6 kids and he also coaches youth and little league sports. Jerez Mabin A big part of contributing to the bottom line of Averitt is efficiency and our W&R program. He is consistently one of the top associates in both of those categories, and that hard work and dedication is what keeps DAL at the top. He has been with us 3 years as a FT dock associate, but he has goals to continue learning, complete the driver training program and obtain his CDL. When he isn’t working, he enjoys relaxing with family and watching his nephew play football at the YMCA.
Tony Mensah His positive attitude and gratefulness to be part of the Averitt team is contagious. During his 6 years with us, he has remained consistent and has worked hard to complete the driver training program and obtain his CDL. His goal is to be a driver full time and be the best associate that he can be for the team. He is married and has 5 kids and his hobbies include music and filming. His leaders say, “Tony’s kind spirit and willingness to help out wherever possible makes him an ideal team member.”
