LIFFWOOD, NJ — The long-awaited ad - dition to Monmouth County’s wellness scene is now a reality. On October 1, LA Fit- ness opened its Signature Club at Aberdeen Plaza, located at Rte. 35 and Cliffwood Ave. in Cliffwood, announced Wood- mere, NY-based shopping center owner/manager Basser Kaufman . The club occupies the former site of an A&P Supermarket. The upscale Signature Club format offers higher-level equipment, classes and per- sonal training, as well as resort-style amenities includ- ing a full-size basketball court, indoor pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool spa, towel service and toiletries. “This gorgeous new club will attract the attention of fitness and health-conscious consumers and attract them on a daily basis to our Plaza,” said Robert Goldfeder , di- rector of leasing for Basser Kaufman. “The fanfare at the ribbon-cutting showed how excited the community is with this new addition.” The facility is complying with all New Jersey COVID-19 regulations.
