struction commenced their partnership as they broke ground on Allentown’s new- est apartments in early No- vember. Situated next to the Little Lehigh Creek, Terrain on the Parkway will bring upscale apartment living to a highly desirable nook along the Lehigh Parkway. Two five-story buildings will contain 160 apartment homes thoughtfully crafted to embrace the properties natural surroundings. Stu- dio, one, two, and three- bedroom homes will fea- ture designer kitchens with quartz countertops, over- sized windows for panoramic views, layouts strategically planned for today’s consum- er, and an array of lifestyle amenities. ““Allentown’s transformation and revi- talization have made it an extremely attractive place for people to live, work and play,” said Jessica Scully , president of Scully Compa- ny. “Terrain on the Parkway is a perfect complement to that desirable lifestyle. and Scully held a ground- breaking ceremony to an- nounce the development and the property name, Terrain on the Parkway. Mayor Raymond O’Connell shared his excitement that the land that has sat vacant for 30 – 40 years is finally see- ing development and said, “This is going to be great for Allentown”. Leonard Light- ner, Allentown’s director of community and economic development has been in- strumental in the project and was also in attendance to celebrate Allentown’s newest residential addition. Construction for the proj- ect is now underway. The de- velopers anticipate the first apartments to be available in the Fall 2021 and expect the project to be completed in the Spring of 2022. MAREJ
