The new HQ incorporates several innovative solutions that reflect the high standards Bell Contracts applies to client projects. Fire-rated glass walls were used to combine safety with a sleek, modern aesthetic. Acoustic panelling improves comfort within the workspaces, while decorative vinyl wall wraps featuring images of completed projects bring the company’s story into the building itself. A bespoke ventilation/heating system from Vent-Axia was installed to maintain air quality in internal offices and meeting rooms, ensuring a healthy and efficient working environment. Colm Bell, Director, said, “As with any major refurbishment, adapting an existing structure to achieve the desired design and high-quality finishes brought challenges. Careful management and
close collaboration with the design team were essential in overcoming these hurdles. “The result is a space that not only met but exceeded expectations, proving the value of teamwork and attention to detail. “This was a true passion project for Bell Contracts. Having delivered high-quality schemes across the UK and Ireland for more than 40 years, the opportunity to create a flagship headquarters of our own was a milestone moment. “Seeing the building come to life, from the first design concepts through to completion, was immensely satisfying. The finished HQ is not only a practical, dynamic workplace but also a symbol of the company’s continued growth and ambition.” Founded in 1982 by Desmond Bell Sr and now in its third generation, Bell Contracts & Co Ltd has since grown into a multi-disciplined construction company operating across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the UK.
