CATERING EQUIPMENT
BRICKLAYERS RMC Building Contracts Ltd was commissioned to provide bricklayers to Glasgiven Contracts on a labour-only basis at pre- agreed rates. With the project entailing 10 separate build phases, RMC worked closely with the main contractor to ensure work areas were ready and materials available. Ronan Murtagh, Director, said, “This required meetings held each morning and then a quick review at the end of day to check on progress and issues. “Glasgiven Contracts and RMC worked together professionally and competently throughout the project. We were pleased to have been awarded it, and to have completed the works successfully on time and to the standard required on such a prestigious project.” RMC has established good relationships with many main contractors in Northern Ireland over the last 20 years and is grateful for the continued work. Previous projects include UU Belfast, Belfast Grand Central Station, Little Patrick Street student accommodation, Portland 88 apartment at the Gasworks and Ards Blair Mayne Wellbeing and Leisure Complex.
Stephens Catering Equipment has completed the design, supply and installation of a high-specification kitchen, working in partnership with Glasgiven Contracts. At the heart of the installation are Rational iCombi ovens and the Rational iVario, intelligent cooking systems capable of handling over 90% of conventional kitchen tasks, delivering speed, precision and consistent results while preserving food quality and nutrients. The kitchen also features Hobart warewashing systems with advanced energy-saving technology, Falcon cooking equipment, Foster low-energy refrigeration and Moffat servery counters for efficient meal service. St Ronan’s is also one of the few new schools to benefit from remote cold and freezer rooms, which improve energy efficiency, free up valuable kitchen space and reduce noise and heat in the working area. All stainless-steel fabrication, including tabling and canopy, was produced by Stephens Catering Equipment’s in- house fabrication plant.
