Joy Brown serves as the ATL Experiences Assistant Director + Human Trafficking Liaison at Hartsfield- Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). At the Airport Joy produces several signature events and is passionate about the safety and well-being of those in and around the community. Shermaine Freeman, MPM, PMP Airport Director Administration Shermaine Freeman serves as the Director of Business Services for the City of Atlanta – Department of Aviation at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport, where she leads enterprise-wide strategies to optimize operations and strengthen business performance. A certified Project Management Professional with a Master’s in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, she brings deep expertise in organizational strategy, innovation, and transformational leadership. She is passionate about leveraging data to drive results, mentoring the next generation of leaders, and delivering sustainable impact. Looking ahead, Shermaine is committed to shaping policy, fostering innovation, and advancing solutions that ensure the long- term success of global aviation.
Philip James Doucet is the Assistant Director of Airside Facilities at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, where he oversees airside facilities maintenance, ensures FAA Part 139 compliance, and leads operational planning and project execution. He holds a bachelor’s in aerospace administration from Middle Tennessee State University and a master’s in public service management from Cumberland University. With experience in airport operations, safety, project management, and stakeholder coordination, he is passionate about optimizing airside infrastructure and ensuring safe, efficient airport environments. Looking ahead, Philip aims to grow in executive airport leadership, contributing to innovative, passenger- focused aviation operations.
