Sally Doles is a Senior Project Manager with the Special Projects team at Denver International airport where she manages the East Security build out focusing on scope, schedule, and budget. Sally received a BS in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University and a ME in Structural Engineering from Texas A&M. She is a licensed Professional Engineer with experience in design and construction management of aviation, commercial, transportation, and transit projects. She is passionate about working with stakeholders to find creative solutions for successful project delivery. Looking ahead, Sally aims to develop supervisory skills and step up into a management position.
Karla Grahn is a passionate leader in volunteer engagement, serving as the Volunteer Program Manager at Denver International Airport (DEN) since 2019. She oversees DEN’s Ambassador Program and the Guinness World Record-holding Canine Airport Therapy Squad (CATS), as well as two successful youth volunteer initiatives. Karla is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating volunteers, working to highlight their contributions through media, awards, and special events. Her leadership has positioned DEN’s volunteer programs among the top in the industry. A recognized industry leader, Karla is frequently consulted by airports, organizations, and media outlets for her expertise in volunteer management. Her commitment to service and innovation continues to enhance DEN’s customer experience while shaping the future of volunteer programs in the aviation industry.
Areli Bonilla is a detail-oriented and results-driven professional with more than seven years of service at the City and County of Denver. As Administrator I for the Center of Equity and Excellence in Aviation at Denver International Airport (DEN), she leads workforce development initiatives focused on empowering underrepresented communities in aviation. Areli manages strategic programs, including leadership training for mid-level and senior staff, and oversees compliance and tracking for multiple projects. She is also spearheading efforts to introduce A.A.A.E. courses at DEN and revitalize mentorship and job-shadowing programs. Previously, she served as a Contract Administrator with DEN’s Business Operations team, managing contracts and ensuring regulatory compliance. Her experience in small business certification and event management helped connect minority-owned businesses with citywide opportunities. A University of Colorado Denver graduate with a business degree and marketing minor, Areli continues to expand her expertise through leadership programs and pursuit of the CAPM certification.
