ATL ENO AIRMAX COHORT PARTICIPANT Erissa Ivey Assistant Director | Program Management At major airports the handling of documents across departments often involves separate systems. Leading to loss of critical documents, inefficiency, errors, and delays in operations. Documents can range from contracts, construction documents, as-builts, badging forms, Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs), lease agreements, and facility & maintenance logs. If expanded Airport-wide, documents could include travel itineraries, security checklists, and Customs forms. An integrated document management system (IDMS) would be a cloud-based platform that integrates with all departments. It would enhance collaboration and break down silos, ultimately improving communication across departments. Additionally, it would centralize and streamline the ability to locate and store documents, enhance data accessibility, security, and overall operational efficiency. In developing an IDMS, the airport can adapt to future needs, such as integration with emerging technologies or additional compliance requirements. Overall, the IDMS would improve operational efficiency, reduce errors, reduce paper-based processes, and improve compliance/audit trails ATLANTA BPIE
