ATL ENO AIRMAX COHORT PARTICIPANT Joy Brown Assistant Director | ATL Experiences + Airport Human Trafficking Liaison The objective is to simplify the airport’s vendor procurement process to reduce delays, strengthen vendor relationships, and improve event flexibility. Currently, complex procedures and red tape, governed by the City of Atlanta, cause payment delays and inefficiencies that impact small businesses and time-sensitive events such as press conferences and large functions. This project seeks to streamline approvals, payments, and vendor onboarding by identifying pain points, gathering best practices from internal agencies, and implementing practical solutions. Key goals include faster response times for urgent requests, better fiscal compliance, and improved transparency. By minimizing bottlenecks, the airport can enhance vendor satisfaction, strengthen partnerships, and boost operational efficiency, resulting in smoother event management and a more small- business-friendly system.
