We are very grateful to all our sponsors who came together in 2020 and continued to support Christ’s College, in a year where the only thing that was certain was uncertainty. It was a year of demanding and ever-changing challenges and we were acutely aware of the huge impact that Covid-19 had on businesses. Nevertheless, our sponsors continued with their unwavering support of our boys and their programmes. At our recent sponsor “Thank you” event, we wanted to honour those sponsors. It was a great night, and we were privileged to hear from head of clay target shooting Chris Graham, one of our lesser- known sports, which, because of sponsorship, flourished in 2020. We also heard from Director of Tamai Sports Ben Hamilton, who shared with us the interesting plans they have for the Tamai project and the benefits playing rugby has had on the young boys coming from the Linwood community. College sponsors are the heart of our community and if it were not for them, our boys would not be able to have all the amazing experiences they have when they play sport or participate in a drama production.
