Benton’s new business, The Cheeseboard , is a Tillsonburg- based catering company that creates cheese and charcuterie platters for any occasion. “I’m a foodie,” says Benton, “I’ve always loved being able to share new tastes and flavours with friends. That’s really what The Cheeseboard is all about—helping people discov- er their new favourite things.” Benton’s catering platters contain locally-sourced cheese and cured meats, complemented with artisinal breads, fresh fruit and preserves.
Not only is each morsel amazing, but the presentation is flawless. “To me, eating isn’t just about how something tastes, it’s also about how it looks,” she says. Benton’s eye for detail has been a big part of her success in recent years.
