Relax in comfort and style Our suites are suitable for individuals and couples with low level care needs and comprise of a living area with kitchenette, and a separate bathroom and bedroom. Everyone living in our suites will have access to our private landscaped gardens and the opportunity to meet like-minded neighbours. Our eight care suites provide a high standard of accommodation, with peace of mind that our team is on-site 24/7 should you require any assistance. The Mill Lodge is situated alongside the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and boasts fantastic views. Our canalside café with an outdoor patio, The Anchor Hitch, offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy an al fresco refreshment whilst watching the beauty of the busy waterway. There is easy access to the main facilities of The Mill House, to enable you to enjoy the benefit of our communal areas when desired, whilst enabling you to enjoy your own independent private space. Four of our suites are located on the ground floor and a further four located the first floor, which can be reached via stairs or by a private lift.

Additional services, such as monthly hairdressing and a daily newspaper of choice are included. We can also support you to arrange extras such as chiropody and dentistry as and when needed. * You can bring your own furniture if you prefer, but please discuss this with our Home Manager.

Care suite fees
How much is a weekly private fee? Our Care Suites weekly private fees are from £1575 for single occupants, with a supplement for second occupants. Our fees will vary depending on the care services required, but we can provide you
with more information on fees and how they are charged. What is included in my weekly fee? At The Mill Lodge, our weekly charge includes: • Accommodation
The following extra items and services are not covered by the weekly fees; however, we can arrange for them to be provided (at an additional cost): • Personal purchases such as stationery, confectionary, toiletries, etc. • The option of telephone line in a bedroom • Dry cleaning • Chiropody and dentistry
• Cost of personal care needed • Utilities e.g. heating and light
• All resident catering, meals, snacks and drinks • Laundry undertaken on the premises (except articles which need dry cleaning) • Individual telephone line • Television license, for your use of digital or satellite television in your suite for residents aged 75 and over (residents under 75 will need to pay an annual charge set by TV Licensing to join the shared TV licence) • Professional hairdressing (monthly appointment) • Daily newspaper of choice

Living with us
The Mill Lodge is accessed via a covered walkway from our main home, The Mill House. Residents residing in our care suites have full access to our luxurious 86 bed residential care home which offers first class residential and dementia care, in a light, spacious and elegant setting. Residents are welcome to the main part of our home or private landscaped gardens at any time to socialise, enjoy a drink and participate in activities as they wish. The Mill House offers freshly cooked wholesome and nutritionally balanced food with a different choice every day. Each floor of our home has a luxurious dining room, where our meals are served. We are committed to making mealtimes a sociable and pleasurable part of each day but will be happy to accommodate residents that may wish to dine in their suites. We offer a stimulating range of cultural events, arts, crafts, games, coffee mornings and social evenings, as well as one-to-one activities and encourage residents to take part as much or as little as they wish. Our Zest Wellbeing programme provides gentle exercise for all abilities for health and enjoyment.

In addition to our Care Suites, we provide first-class residential and residential dementia care. Our colleagues are carefully recruited and trained to ensure that warmth and understanding are at the heart of everything they do. Our carers use conversation and active listening to understand your holistic needs and desires. We are able to facilitate and create independence within personal limitations, empowering residents to take control of their life decisions.
