Herbal tea for Sleep Chamomile: Pretty chamomile has long been used to relieve nervous tension, irritability and restlessness. It has strong relaxant and antispasmodic properties to ease sore muscles and period pain. Chamomile is perfect for encouraging sleep, and is gentle enough to use in children. For a good night’s sleep, drink a cup of chamomile herbal tea before bedtime. Lemon balm: Treats anxiety and depression and quietens nervousness and panic. Lavender: Well known for its soothing and calming effects, this relaxes the body and aids restful sleep. Herbal tea for Digestion Ginger: Long used to relieve motion sickness, plus nausea during pregnancy and post-operative nausea, ginger is an excellent herbal remedy for indigestion, flatulence and colicky pain.
