myriad fire service-related issues at the national level. In addition, she has served as a leader within the American Society of Association Executives' Research Committee. The entire fire and emergency services community benefits significantly from the talents, knowledge, experiences, and leadership of Preet Bassi. When I first met her, which was shortly after she was hired at CPSE in 2014, there was no doubt in my mind that she would excel in the fire service and add value to everything she touched along the way. Preet is a wonderful person who is universally appreciated and respected. If you're part of a fire department that has been CPSE accredited, or an individual who has achieved a CPSE credential, then you have been directly impacted by Preet. We got lucky when she found us and committed to becoming part of what makes working in the fire service such an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Thank you, my friend, and please keep improving the professionalism of the fire service and making us all better.
