King's Business - 1957-10

A Letter from Cíate A. Risley

Chicago, Illinois Sept. 18, 1957

To Friends of Sunday School Everywhere:

The National Sunday School Association takes great joy in inviting you to its 12th birthday convention to be held in Los Angeles, Wed., Thurs. and Fri., Oct. 9-10-11 at Biola, 6th and Hope Streets; and in Grand Rapids, Oct. 30-31-Nov. 1 at the Civic Auditorium. Program-wise this will be the greatest event in NSSA history. During this three-day assembly more than 100 of America's best leaders in the field of Sunday school and Christian education will hold forth. At least 50 different Protestant denominations will be represented. Today thousands of churches testify that their outlook has been completely changed and that a new vision has been instilled in their people because somebody attended a National Sunday School Con vention and received a new challenge with accompanying motives, and new concepts to do an old task better. Whatever investment of time and money you or your church may have to make will be more than worth the effort. There's no convention like a Sunday school convention and there's no Sunday school convention like a National Sunday School Con vention for far-reaching results. Today lives are different, homes changed, communities better and churches are advancing the cause of Christ because pastors, Sunday school superintendents and other church leaders have transmitted a vision received. Come praying. Come expecting. Come ! Sincerely yours,

CARrsh
