As we go to press the great Septem­ ber Bible Conference of The Bible Institute is about to open, with indications of a very large at­ tendance. There are to be twenty- two days of sessions-with about fifty specialists taking part. Dr. A. C. Gaebe- lein, editor of “ Our Hope” is the chief speaker and other invited speakers* most of whom have; signified their intention of taking part are Dr. Henry W. Frost, Dr. Lincoln A. Ferris, Dr. W. E. Blackstone, Dr. F. W. Farr, Dr. Campbell Coyle, Dr. J. W. Brougher, Rev. W. H. Rawlings, Dr. W. E. Edmonds, Rev. Howard W. Kellogg, Evangelist E. P. Lyon, Rev. Geo. M. Rourke, Dr. F. O. Beldin, Rev. Geo. W. Davis, Rev. S. P, McLennan, Rev. H. H. Fisher, Rev* A. T. O’Rear, Dr. Hugh K. Walker, Rev. A. V. Kimmel, Dr. J. G. Kennedy, and several others. In addition to the Bilile study meet­ ings, many sessions will be given to principles and methods of Christian work, covering the Sunday School, Young Peoples Society work, Mission­ ary work, Evangelism, public speaking, Gospel singing and instrumental music. The1members of the Bible Institute faculty will take part. If you are inter­ ested in the study of the Bible and in becoming more efficient in service in your church, be sure to attend some of these sessions, and spend several days with us if possible. Arrangements for rooms should be made in advance, with Rev. T. C. Horton.

We have been receiving many letters of congratulation upon the new dress of The King’s Business, many of which we would like to publish had we the space. The first letter received after the issuing of the magasine in the new form, written but a few hours after having received the issue, contained this paragraph: “ Let me extend my congratulations on the new form of The King’s Business. It is now cer­ tainly one of the most attractive mag­ azines I know of. Best wishes for increased popularity under its new management. Don D. Donan, late presi­ dent of the Alumni Association.” If you like The King’s Business, tell all your friends. If yoii have any sugges­ tions, let us have them. Marion H. Reynolds and Miss Vir­ ginia Moon, were united in marriage July 24. Mr. Reynolds is in charge of the new Biola Hall, a soul-winning branch of the Institute, and both he and his wife are graduates of the Insti­ tute. Abel Jones, a former student was ordained a minister of the Baptist denomination at Torrance, California, recently. At the same time the com­ munity church was received into the Baptist convention and Mr. Jones accepted the pastorate. Miss Charlotte Featherstone, in Esing-gan-Hsien, China, writes: “ We are the Lord’s missionaries, living in this far-away inland Chinese City, and we much value your beautiful mag­ azine. Its strong true note is what is sorely needed in these dreadful days in which we are living.” The Bible Institute opens its regular sessions on September 25th, and in spite of the war conditions, there will apparently be a good enrollment of
