We have had the privilege of being invited guests at the “Workers’ Report Meetings,” held monthly, and have been greatly cheered as we listened to the reports of experienced work­ ers, of difficulties encountered and overcome, of errors, refuted, of victims to Christian Science, Rus- sellism, Theosophy, and other evil cults, delivered, and of souls of all

two clubs are the foundation of the whole Bible Institute organization, for­ mer members of which are today to be found in all parts of the mission field. One very noticeable feature of the Institute, and one which has an import­ ant bearing on the training for the foreign field, is the number of students who in one way and another put them­ selves through the two years’ course by their own industry. The home life in the Institute has also appealed to us as being so admirably suited to fit them

classes of the people being saved. And the Jew was not forgotten. These varied forms of Christian activity have been mentioned, in order to give a reason­ ably adequate idea of the training given to the students; but any statement would be-incomplete without some ref­ erence to the Fishermen’s Club and the Lyceum Club. These are soul-saving and Bible teaching agencies, the one for men under the direction of Mr. Horton and the other for women under the oversight of Mrs. Horton who also has the supervision of a large and exper­ ienced number of Bible women. These

The principles of Hooverism had been well inculcated before the rules of “ no waste” had come into force.
