PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival Day 2 Fontainebleau & Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte We enjoy time at leisure in Fontainebleau, perhaps visiting the impressive Château de Fontainebleau. After free time for lunch, we visit Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte , complete with Christmas trees, glittering decorations, roaring fires, horse-drawn carriage rides and festive choirs. Day 3 Versailles Today we enjoy a guided tour of the Palace and Gardens of Versailles , France’s most famous château. We then enjoy free time at leisure in Versailles itself before returning to our hotel in the late afternoon. Day 4 Departure
Make the most of the lovely Loire at Christmas time, with visits to the delightful towns of Tours and Amboise, as well as the exceptional Château de Langeais, which receives a dazzling makeover for Christmas. PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival Day 2 Amboise We spend today in Amboise, exploring the town centre and marvelling at the Troglodyte cave dwellings that have been turned into houses and wine cellars. We may wish to visit the Château du Clos Lucé, where Leonardo da Vinci spent his final years, or the Château d’Amboise. Day 3 Tours & Château de Langeais We head to Tours this morning with free time to admire the impressive old town by the river or the Cathédrale Saint-Gatien. This afternoon we visit the spectacular Château de Langeais , which is transformed into a Christmas spectacle with twinkling lights and sparkling decorations. Day 4 Departure

Set sail on the Seine River aboard the MS Botticelli or MS Seine Princesse and discover the rich architectural and cultural heritage of fabulous Paris. The cabins are equipped with a TV and bathroom with shower and toilet. Meals are served – together with wonderful panoramic views – in the casual but elegant restaurant located on the upper deck. The ships are a cracking (floating) base from which to enjoy the sights and attractions of France’s vibrant capital, and, for added ease, coaches can park at the quay during the stay (on a first come first served basis).
