Multi-purpose facility in Wilmington being considered for LEED Gold award Emory Hill & Co. wins ABC “Green Building Award” for Ferris School Juvenile Facility

ILMINGTON, DE — Emory Hill & Company won the 2014 ABC Delaware Green Building Award for the State of Delaware Juve- nile Multi-Purpose Facility at Ferris School in Wilm- ington, which has applied for LEED Gold certification. The award was presented at the ABC Delaware An- nual Dinner in November by ABC president Paul Lan- gan to construction director Bob Liberato and archi- tect Maureen Rozanski of BSA&A . The state-of-the- art building, which sits on the Agency’s administrative campus near Newport at W M. ISELIN, NJ — A newly developed 13,100 s/f retail building at 1477 Oak Tree Rd., Iselin is now ready for occupancy. The building, known as The Sitar Emporio, is pursing LEED Gold Certi- fication. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmen- tal Design) is a set of rat- ing systems for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of green build- ings. The United States Green Building Council developed the certification to help building owners and operators be environmen- tally responsible and use resources efficiently.
