Traditions Around the World!
1. Japan: Many families eat KFC on Christmas Eve — a quirky tradition that started with a successful marketing campaign in the 1970s. 2. Iceland: They have the Yule Lads, 13 mischievous trolls who leave gifts (or rotten potatoes!) in children’s shoes during the 13 nights before Christmas. 3. Sweden: People celebrate St. Lucia Day on December 13th, where girls dress in white robes with a crown of candles to bring light during the dark winter. 4. Mexico: The Posadas are festive gatherings with songs, food, celebrating community and family during the holiday season. 5. Ukraine: Christmas trees are often decorated with spider webs as a symbol of good luck, inspired by a folk tale about a poor family whose tree was magically adorned by spiders. 6. Germany: Advent calendars are popular, counting down the days to Christmas with chocolates or small gifts behind each door.

Cinnamon-Spiced Hot Chocolate
Warm up this December with a rich, creamy hot chocolate with a hint of holiday spice! Perfect for sipping by the fire or sharing with family and friends.
Recipe of the Month!
Ingredients:
4 cups whole milk (or milk of choice) 1/2 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate) 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Pinch of nutmeg Whipped cream or marshmallows for topping

Instructions:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine milk, cream, cocoa powder, and sugar. Heat over medium heat, whisking occasionally until warm. 2. Add chocolate chips and stir until fully melted and smooth. 3. Stir in vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Taste and adjust sweetness or spice as desired. 4. Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream or marshmallows. Optional: sprinkle a little cinnamon on top for extra holiday flair. 5. Serve immediately and enjoy the cozy vibes!
