CANANG SARI MAKING A cherished daily ritual across Bali, canang sari reflects a philosophy of gratitude and balance. At the resort, guests are invited to experience this tradition firsthand, arranging palm leaves and vibrant flowers into offerings that symbolize harmony between the spiritual and physical worlds.

RINDIK MELODIES ACROSS THE RESORT

The gentle sounds of the rindik create a serene rhythm throughout the resort’s open spaces. This traditional Balinese instrument is crafted from 11 to 13 bamboo tubes arranged on a wooden frame, resembling a xylophone and played with bamboo mallets known as panggul. Its soft, soothing tones are designed to calm the mind while offering a quiet connection to Bali’s musical heritage.

PANYEMBRAMA DANCE WELCOME

A graceful expression of Balinese hospitality, the Panyembrama Dance was choreographed in 1971 by I Nyoman Kaler and I Wayan Beratha. Traditionally performed by women carrying flower- filled bokoran bowls, the dance is characterized by slow, deliberate movements that symbolize respect and welcome. Beyond greeting guests, it also plays an important cultural role. It is performed during temple ceremonies to welcome deities, used as an opening for cultural performances, and often introduced as a foundational dance for young Balinese learners. At the resort, it offers an authentic introduction to one of Bali’s enduring artistic traditions.
