Qualifications Educated to or actively working towards degree level in relevant subject (Construction Management or Building Surveying), or significant relevant experience in a senior management role in FM environment. Member of or actively working towards a relevant professional institute at IEng level min (such as CIOB or RICS).

Currently, staff can have a hybrid working arrangement under the Hybrid Working Policy. The opportunity to have a hybrid working arrangement and the nature of any such arrangement, varies according to the requirements of each job role. There are some roles which can only be carried out from the Parliamentary Estate. Leadership and Inclusivity • Significant experience of managing a team, including setting objectives, monitoring standards and ability to motivate and team build. • Ability to lead individuals and teams, building and maintaining strong collaborative partnerships to achieve organisational goals, whilst upholding the values of equality, diversity and inclusion. Event Planning • Experience in construction management for events, ideally ceremonial, and in maintaining building fabric and furnishings—preferably within a listed building environment. Health and Safety • Knowledge of health and safety legislation for building services and experienced in managing complex permit-to-work systems, including risk assessments, method statements, and site safety inspections. • Desirable - holds IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH General Certificate, or equivalent, and qualified as Authorised Person (Working at Height). Budget Management • Experience of managing a budget in excess of £1m including forecasting, monitoring expenditure and implementing controls.
