ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Wendy Wong envisioned Raising Connected Boys in a Disconnected World as a way to bring parents and educators together in dialogue on the societal challenges facing boys and young men. She holds a J.D. from Loyola Law School and an M.P.P. from UC Berkeley’s Goldman School. A former civil-rights attorney and

education policy analyst, she has served on the board of Oakland Unity High School, co-chaired SPEAK SF, and co-founded SPIRE at Cathedral School for Boys. Wendy and her husband, Michael, are the parents of Caleb (Class of 2022) and Jacob (Class of 2025).

OUR CONVERSATIONS DID NOT STOP AT THE SCHOOL’S FRONT DOORS. THEY RIPPLED OUTWARD INTO HOMES, CLASSROOMS, AND HEARTS.
