Our partnership with Grace Cathedral gives boys the rare chance to sing and lead in one of the most breathtaking acoustic and architectural spaces in the world. More importantly, it teaches them that their voices matter not only in song but in life. In a world full of noise, our boys are learning to listen. In a world marked by division, they are learning to harmonize. And in a world that often celebrates the soloist, they are discovering the quiet strength of singing together. IN A WORLD FULL OF NOISE, OUR BOYS ARE LEARNING TO LISTEN. IN A WORLD MARKED BY DIVISION, THEY ARE LEARNING TO HARMONIZE.

rewards are lasting. Boys who sing in choirs tend to develop focus, self-discipline, and a deep sense of awareness. They learn how to hold their own voice while staying in tune with others. Music education at Cathedral reaches beyond the choir. All boys participate in music classes, beginning with rhythm and movement in the Lower School and continuing with instrumental work and ensemble performance in the Upper School. We invite students to explore musical traditions from across cultures, genres, and eras, because music is a language that speaks to everyone.
