Antarctica Adventure - 2002

We easily found Avenida el Bosque and all its many eating places. There we fell into Sebastian’s Restaurant which became a sort of headquarters for us in Santiago. It had a lovely patio where we could eat and watch the Chileans go by. The food was just what we wanted ham and cheese half sandwiches with diet coke. We spent an hour or so watching the folks of all ages eating scrumptious ice cream concoctions and walking up and down the lovely street. Now after our fond farewells to Geoff, Dave, et al, we were ready to enjoy our four days in this lovely Chileancity.

The rest of this marvelous journey was in Chile - the journal for this portion of the trip is in a separateportionof theDestinationstab on the Women Travel SafeBlog.

On to Santiago, Chile with road trips to the Pacific coast to the west and mountains in the east.
