Business and community leaders from Oklahoma City will head to San Diego this fall for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber’s 2026 InterCity Visit, an annual opportunity to learn from another metropolitan area and bring new ideas back to Oklahoma City. The InterCity Visit allows participants to explore the successes and challenges of a peer city while connecting with leaders from both communities. The annual trip provides an opportunity to benchmark Oklahoma City’s progress, exchange ideas and consider strategies that could support the region’s continued growth. The three-day visit also creates opportunities for participants to strengthen relationships while learning from another city firsthand. Those experiences can help identify approaches and best practices that may inform economic development and other priorities at home. This year’s visit to San Diego will focus on defense, innovation, housing, transportation and more. The 2026 InterCity Visit will take place Wednesday, Oct. 21, through Friday, Oct. 23, in San Diego. Participation is available to Greater Oklahoma City Chamber members at the Advisor level and above. Eligible members can learn more and register at okcchamber.com/intercity.
