Kayla Hornat is currently completing her bachelor’s degree in business administration. She has earned multiple certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, ESG Management, Mastering Conflict Resolution, and the Seven C’s of Professional Communication. A semester abroad in London in fall 2024 expanded her global business insight and deepened her appreciation for cultural diversity. Kayla brings hands-on experience from three internships, where she applied her academic knowledge in dynamic business environments. Her roles have included human resources specialist at Noah’s Ark Waterpark, a dual HR and marketing position at Pentonville Studios in London, and her current position as a customer success representative at Skyward. Beyond her professional work, Kayla is passionate about giving back—volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, The Cupboard food pantry and various fundraising initiatives. Looking ahead, Kayla aspires to a career that blends travel, cultural engagement and continuous learning. Through her MBA journey, she hopes to sharpen her business acumen, build strong professional networks and gain practical tools to navigate complex challenges. She’s especially excited to connect with peers and faculty who share her passion for growth and impact. Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, Kayla enjoys painting and exploring new places. She values connection and is always open to meeting new people, learning from their experiences and joining in on events.
