CAMPUS • Stevens Point

Joshua Thomas (he/him/his) is a 4+1 MBA candidate graduating from the UW-Stevens Point in December 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a professional sales certificate. Throughout his time at UWSP, he’s enjoyed growing as a communicator and leader, especially through completing Toastmasters Speech Craft and being involved with Cru, where he’s found community and meaningful friendships. This past summer, Joshua interned at Dayton Freight’s Mosinee terminal, an experience that opened his eyes to how many different pieces make a business run well. He learned about supply chain operations, customer service, leadership practices and even some HR work. The variety of responsibilities helped him see how much he enjoys working with people and supporting them in their roles. Looking ahead, Joshua hopes to become a servant leader, someone who leads by example, cares about the people around him and helps others grow both professionally and personally. He’s excited for the MBA program because he wants to strengthen his leadership skills and learn how to connect with and support different types of people more effectively. In his community, Joshua aims to be empathetic, trustworthy and always willing to lend a hand. Outside of school and work, you’ll usually find him outdoors—hunting, fishing or just spending time with family and friends. He also loves coaching youth sports, listening to music, drawing and taking photos. Joshua wants fellow MBA candidates to know he values real relationships, likes to have fun and is always ready to help however he can.
