Anetha Vogele’s academic journey has been both rewarding and transformative. She began studying marine biology but discovered her passion for business administration through a finance course, which led to a shift in her focus. She is on track to complete her undergraduate degree in December 2024 at UW- Stevens Point and plans to begin her MBA immediately afterward. During her undergraduate studies, she served as a research assistant to Professor Nik Butz, contributing to a paper on community development. She had the opportunity to showcase this work at the Research in the Rotunda event in Madison where she shared her findings with senators. In addition, Anetha has been an active member of UWSP’s track and field team, even competing at nationals in Birmingham, Ala. Her commitment to professional growth is evident through her Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification and her work as a zoning consultant for Key Zoning Assessments. She also serves as a LEAD mentor at UWSP, helping new students transition to college. In her current role as a crew lead at Cold Stone Creamery, Anetha manages training and inventory. Her future goals include working on the business side of an architectural firm or as a zoning consultant, with plans to pursue a degree in architecture in New York City. Ultimately, she aspires to start her own firm specializing in sustainable architecture. In her free time, she enjoys reading in the park, observing nature and exploring new areas within the community.
