Kenny graduated from the UW-Stout in 2021 with a major in dietetics. While attending UW-Stout, he was involved with the Native American Student Organization (NASO). Kenny completed an accredited nine-month dietetic internship fall 2023 and is now eligible to take the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Exam. Kenny held a remote internship with Garden to Table Nutrition located in Bothell, Wash. This internship involved a community rotation at the Native American Community Clinic which included diabetes groups outreach programs. These programs integrated nutrition education, counseling, and planned community materials. He also completed rotations in both clinical and food service management. Kenny currently manages an auto glass business while studying for his Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR) certification exam. Prior to completing a B.S in Dietetics, Kenny worked in the manufacturing industry. He would like to build upon this experience with hopes to utilize the knowledge and skills gained from his MBA program to strengthen his leadership skills not only in his professional career but also in daily life. As a Native American, Kenny would like to give back to his tribal communities by using his knowledge and skills to help improve how certain things can be done in both business world and in everyday life. He also would like to share indigenous knowledge and viewpoints with the surrounding communities to help educate and increase the indigenous perspective. Kenny’s goal is to create a place of opportunity for youth and young adults to gain experience, create inspiration and motivate others in their own lives. In his spare time, Kenny enjoys spending time with his family, wife and daughter as well as cooking.
