Cal Baptist University Agreement Discount for City Employees (HR) The City of Irvine has partnered with California Baptist University (CBU) to offer employees exclusive education benefits, including a 20% tuition scholarship and free admissions application through CBU’s Preferred Partnership Program. CBU offers 160+ accredited bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs, available online and on-campus. Additional resources:
to park in the Harvard and San Juan lot, which offers plenty of parking in both the paved and adjacent unpaved areas. To assist, Community Services will operate a shuttle Monday through Thursday, running 7–8:30 a.m. and 4:30–6 p.m., for easy access to the lots.
Parking Guidelines
During construction, we ask that you adhere to the following changes to City operations:

• Please park in the overflow lot at San Juan and Harvard whenever feasible. • Please park all City vehicles (Emergency Services exempt) at 17113 Armstrong • Please work from home after 3 p.m. on City Council days as follows. — May 27, June 10, June 24, July 8, and July 22. Construction Schedule • Southern half of the lot (closest to the Civic Center) — This section of the lot will be repaved in May. Staff and the contractor are working to pave the lot on weekends. More details will follow. • Eastern half of the lot (closest to Colonel Bill Barber Marine Corps Memorial Park) — This half of the lot will be repaved in July. Staff and the contractor are working to pave the lot on weekends. Origami Workers’ Compensation System Launches June 2 The City of Irvine is excited to launch the new Origami Workers’ Compensation system June 2. Workers’ compensation forms will no longer be available in paper format on the Intranet, and supervisors will use the new online platform to report incidents: Start a New Injured Employee Incident.
