Beasley and McCullars Named To 2025 All-Alabama Academic Team Two students from Snead State Community College were among 48 honored statewide

the President’s List, was selected to the Homecoming Court during her freshman and sophomore years, and received the Outstanding Student Achievement Award in Biology 103. Her volunteer work includes supporting events for the Foundation for Marshall Medical Centers, Blessings in a Backpack, the Region 2 Technology Competition, and the Christmas Coalition. Beasley plans to transfer to the University of Alabama in Huntsville to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and become a registered nurse specializing in pediatrics. McCullars, a business major, is the daughter of Brock and Candi McCullars. She holds several leadership roles including Treasurer for the Snead State Ambassadors, Student Government Association. She is in the Rotaract Club and she is a member of FBLA Collegiate.

at the 30th Annual All- Alabama Academic Team Recognition Program, held April 11, 2025 in Birmingham. Audrey Beasley of Guntersville and Sarah McCullars of Albertville were selected to represent Snead State for their academic excellence, campus involvement and community service. Each honoree received a $1,000 scholarship from the Paths for Success Foundation to use toward continuing their education at a four-year institution. Beasley, a nursing major, is the daughter of Chasity and Andy Beasley. She serves as President of Snead State’s Student Government Association and is active in the Snead Rotaract Club and the Snead State Ambassadors, where she is the Event Chair. McCullars has earned

2024 Alabama FBLA- Collegiate conference, a 10th place finish nationally in the Hospitality Case Competition in 2024, second place in Foundations of Finance and first place in Job Interview at the 2025 state competition. She qualified to compete in the national FBLA-Collegiate

competition this summer. McCullars was also awarded the Civitan Award during the 2025 Commencement Ceremony at Snead State. Her volunteer service also includes involvement in events for the Foundation for Marshall Medical Centers, Blessings in a Backpack, Made on the

Mountain, the Region 2 Technology Competition as a guest judge, and the Christmas Coalition. McCullars will also transfer to UAH to major in Finance and Analytics, with plans to become a financial advisor focused on helping individuals build long-term financial security.
