Electric Vehicle Charging
How It Works When the charger is plugged into the vehicle, the EV charging station is the conduit, control and monitoring device connected to the electric grid. EVs have built-in safety features and can be operated and recharged in all types of indoor/outdoor weather conditions. The three levels for EV charging power are Level 1, Level 2 and Direct Current (DC) Fast Charging. The kilowatt capacity of a charger regulates how quickly a battery receives elec- tricity.
