Christ Is Living to Fulfill His Will Rom. 1:18 Christ is the Man who did not stay dead. Christ is the only Man who made a “will,” then died, and then came back to see that the provisions of His will were carried out. The liv ing Son of God on the throne of Heaven assures every believer that all will be performed exactly as planned by this wonderful exalted Christ. The risen Saviour also strikes terror to the man who has said either with his heart or lips, “We will not have this man to reign over us.” The risen Saviour is sovereign. No one can stand against His will. He lives to perform His Word. We need someone in God’s presence to intercede constantly for us and to be our advocate. We are conscious of our failures. We realize our faults. We regret our sins. There ever lives in God’s presence this mighty Master whom God Himself has appointed to be our lawyer to defend us before the throne of God. He pleads our cause and wins our case. He presents the wounds and the blood as sufficient payment for all of our failure. None need fail whose case is in His hands. Christ Is Living to Judge Acts 17:31 Every human being must eventually stand before the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no possible way to evade nor avoid Him. All men in the world are divided into two groups: those who are for Christ and those who are against Him. Christ is the dividing point, Christ is the focal point of every life. At the judgment throne, the principal question concerns our relationship to this precious Person whom God raised from the dead. He bears the nails of Calvary to silence the lips of His opponents. He will have the last word. There is no appeal from His court. Christ Is Living to Forgive 1 John 2:1 Satan knows that the only person in the world who controls human lives is Christ Jesus. Because of that he attacks that truth constantly. The Communist completely denies the value of Christ. The Roman Catholic substitutes Mary and the priest and the church and the saints in place of Christ. Many Protestants substitute good works, good character, and hu man merit instead of Christ. Let us ever remember it is only the Lord Jesus through whom forgiveness may be obtained. Christ Is Living for His Own Heb. 7:25

mm A Christian business man the other day remarked: “ I never eat my meals alone. I go without soup or dessert and the money I save goes for a hungry brother abroad. Here is $10.00 for a food parcel which I saved up from my meals.” Our Lord has given us an abundance of food and other necessities. God forbid that we should eat our bread alone, forgetting the thousands of children and their helpless parents, who go hungry in Israel and in Europe today.

By the grace of God, THE FRIENDS OF ISRAEL are seeking to show forth Christ in His glorious and matchless love. The hungry are fed, the ragged clothed, the brokenhearted comforted and uplifted, and sinners brought to the Saviour who died to redeem them. Remember the words of our Lord — ‘7 was hungered, and ye gave me meat”. Your prayers and offerings of love urgently needed.
