Porta Door was founded in the early 1960's' by my father Paul and my uncle Tony. It was conceived with the idea of making doors for their own small cabinet shop that specialized in custom built cabinetry and stairs. Through the years "Marlo Custom Craft", founded in the late 1950's, began producing simple raised panel doors for shops in an around the Stamford, Ct. area. The company grew to a point when the name was changed to Porta Door. Ever since, the company has evolved as a leading producer of doors, drawer boxes and cabinetry components serving the furniture and kitchen industry nation wide. I'm proud to have been able to continue the legacy of my Father and Uncle. I'm equally proud to enjoy the employment of my son and 2 nephews. Thinking way back in the past when my grandfather Pete, was employed by Porta Door, Time does fly,it's hard to believe, here we are, 4 generations later. We continue to invest and grow the company with the latest technology providing our customer's with the highest quality products and service.
